When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, there's no such thing as perfection—progress, yes—this just means getting better at getting back on the horse. We inevitably fall off from time to time; that's just part of being human.
This is why it's pertinent to develop a set of habits that you can do consistently and easily come back to when you get thrown off. For example: drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning, going for a walk after meals, preparing food for the week on Sundays. It looks different for everyone, depending on your lifestyle, goals, and preferences.
When the riding gets bumpy, you'll be able to grab onto these healthy habits, rather than reverting back to, or remaining stuck in, unhealthy ways.
